EDIT: No, the lyrics are consistent with Chester's cover, at least from what I can tell.

Looking at the lyrics, I'm beginning to see why Linkin Park covered it.

While Trent may make the song sound aggressive and pissed off, the lyrics fit perfectly with what LP is about. Except for the part when it says "twenty-six years on my way to hell." I don't think many teenies can relate to that.

EDIT: I remember reading at a NIN forum that Chester butchered some lyrics. I don't want to go back and listen to the song, but that's the NIN fans probably just hating on anything that touches NIN songs. They dissed Devo too. :ohno:

I would have posted them, but I figured someone could just post them on the lyrics page. I sent them to Mark anyway a little while ago if he wants to post them. Also, I don't think Chester says the end part there. "I want to but I can't turn back...I want to"
