Another News. I don't know if you guys know this or not but, here it goes. The new video for 'Somewhere I Belong' is going to premiere on the 28th (Feb.,) on MTV's Select. A German MTV station, where they will be the first to premiere the video and it will be premiering approximatly, 3:00pm. So if anybody that lives in Germany or gets the German MTV channel, then you guys are dame lucky. If someone can tape the video and encode it for all of us, that will be really grateful.

well i have just seen the sib video
and to be honest i don't think its very good.
Its a bit of a let down really

i cant really encode it cause i dont have a tv in my computer

well it starts off with a picture of a room with a bed
some weird what looks like power ranger toys around the room.
It shows some guitars then it shows chester in this room
and it looks like hes moving on a convayer belt, hes moving along but no leg movement yeah.
It shows a very close shot of mikes eye
The it shows an above view of chester a sleep lowering onto a bed.
He then hits the bed when the main riff comes in.
You then see what looks the the bed sheets falling.
He then wakes up on a sandy floor on these sheets
It then cuts to a scene where mike start rapping with rain pouring down in the background.
It cuts to show chesters face on the bits he sings on mikes rapping.
Then when the chorus comes in chester stands up and you can see the rest of the band behind him playing the song.
The room is like in the desert with this weird hook like thing behind them all.
They just play the chorus with chester singing to the camera and random shots of the other guys playing.
It then cuts back to mike rapping again in the same format as in the 1st verse only this time u see the full room he's in. Which contains loads of monks sitting down.
Fire then starts to appear in the rain behind mike
It then cuts back to the main room with chester singing and the other guys playing
This time the hook thing and all around it sets on fire, they play through the chorus again with random cuts to the minks sitting down inhailing smoke.
It then cuts back to the bed chester fell onto, this sets on fire.
More of them playing with fire in the background.
Then these what look like a cross between elephants and giraffes start walking across in front of the band. These are the same creatures you see at the beginning of the video in a painting.
More of playing the song with fire in the background and these creatures walking infront of the band.
This cuts between the band playing, some shots of the bed on fire, shots of the guitars and some shots of the toy robots.
The fire then goes out at the end of the video and it shows chester lying a sleep on the bed which is no longer on fire but has smoke sucking back under the bed. It then fades out

phew that took me a while to type

I saw the video too, and I think its wicked cool. its differnt and not how i imagined it. the only disspaointment is that i remmeber the LPA putting up a picture on the news of Mikes face morphing into chesters, and that does not happen at alll which sucks i thought thatd eb really cool. but the whole part with mike and the monks i think is really cool. i think everyone will love it or sorta liek it, its not as good as papercut or in the end, but tis better than crawling and osc for sure. peace/

i expected more those animal things were wierd and had nothing to do with anything the whole mike part was the best thing of the video and the close up on chesters face
