hey you guys have any info about the interlude after part of me? iT makes the song like 6-7 minutes longer. I think the interlude is completely pointless.

Thats probably because you have the demo.

I thought the interlude after Part Of Me is ambient isn't it?

this is jsut a guess... but it sounds like the guys brought in the demos and some one said "this isn't long enough for an album... if you add another song, ill produce it" and then when they couldn't come up with anything they decided to add the extra minutes onto Part of Me because it was the last track on the album. That's just a guess and it's probably wrong but hey! I tried. ;)

I highly doubt that since Mike Shinoda produced the album,percides its only an EP with 6 tracks!

It has the original song, then has all that static/noises then "Ambient" comes out. I think it was intentional, but I don't know the reason. On the next tour at an LPU Meet & Greet, someone ask them lol :D

yes it is ambient.My version of part of me is about 7:22 long.Some others have a version of about 13 mins.I my version the beeping has been reduced to just about 1 minute or so

i have the demo and the one from HT E.p. Maybe its just got the end cut off or something

i think that is the 'proper version'

ambient kicks in after 10 mins of the track on the EP - its simply an interlude that the guys put on, something like session or cure for the itch. personally i like it a lot, even the static sound.

the demo has different lyrics to the track found on the EP so all in all there are a few different versions of the track.

1. the 13 min one found on the EP (both the original and re-release)
2. the 7 min one - with a cut static sound
3. 'part of me' track without the extra track and the static sound
4. the demo of 'part of me'

So Ambient, the hidden instrumental kicks in after that long interlude....

I also believe it's pointless for bands to put in static, nothing, or pointless crap between songs on the same track. Why don't they just move to the next track?

Good Charlotte did that on Chronicles of Life and Death. If you fast forward through the last track...there's an extra song after like a minute and a half of nothing
