So, just a quick update for anyone who still looks at this bit of the site rather than bookmarking the forums.
Last year was an amazing year for us, the main reason being you guys supporting and helping us every step of the way. Well at least some of the way, I can remember times where I had to assert some internet discipline, but aside from that its been awesome. We have gold and platinum records in our home country and a gold one in the us from this album which is something nobody thought we could do. A mongrel metal
rock punk band from the middle of nowhere. Goes to show that looks will get you everywhere...;)
The shows we have played have also been incredible and we want to thank every single person who turned up or even thought about turning up, its you guys that make the difference and keep us around to combat the pedestrian coffee table pop and indie bollocks that clogs up the media.
We've seen bands rise and fall and we are still growing through all of it. In a few years when people look back, trust me, they wouldn't have seen us coming. We are a unit with you guys, not above or below, just on the same level and same path. You understand us and we understand you.
We are no better or worse than you, we just happen to play music, and you dance to it. If you played music we would probably dance to you. Remember that, and if anyone gives you shit we are still taking names.
So the plan from here. We have a few weeks off then we start writing the new album, putting together all the ideas we have gathered over the past year. Then when we are happy, we will go record them. Simple really. We should be done sometime after the summer, and then who knows. It all starts again, but with bigger ambitions and a better album. You won't be dissapointed, trust me.
Until then, keep the boards alive, and we'll update you when we can with progress reports.
Be safe, and have faith. As Yazz once said 'the only way is up'z
Brief but at least we can get excited :shifty:

Awesome news, Lostprophets are the best alternative rock band today. Sometimes it replaces some Linkin Park cds for a spot in my cd player.

Fake Sound of Progress and Start Something were totally different styles.

It'll be amazing if they could do that again.
