Here is my newest poem. I really like this one. The theme is about the imagination of a young child, how wonderous it can be. Here goes:

I traced your shadow in the sand
You came alive with me
Like the rain that falls so gently
You danced upon the sea
Like a flickering flame you crept
Upon the swaying tide
In and out like indecision
Nothing for you to hide
As darkness made it's presence known
You retreated from whence you came
Settled beneath the pearly sand
For another hand to tame
