“The Oceans Song”
Can you sense the oceans victory?
The waves crash upon rocks as she sings in tune
With rhythm and rhyme resounding, after the unyielding rain
While the rolling black clouds above flee back to June
Can you hear the seagulls singing?
With a euphoric tone in their voice and confidence under wing
She dances along with hope in her eyes and a dream in her heart
As the sun peeks over the horizon; and with it a smile it gladly brings
Can you see her footprints on the shore?
After the storm has come to rest its weary wrath
Amity lays her blanket of tranquility over the coast
And all is in array once more, with just a little bit of faith
Let your eyes be still
Such a sight there is to be seen, but not with open eyes
Only is it ever so delightful, ever so apparent after hardship
Only is it ever so beautiful, when a pure heart beats inside
Can you sense the oceans victory?
The waves crash upon rocks as she sings in tune
With rhythm and rhyme resounding, after the unyielding rain
While the rolling black clouds above flee back to June
Can you hear the seagulls singing?
With a euphoric tone in their voice and confidence under wing
