How well can you sing?

1 - You sound really bad. You're better not even remotely attempting to sing.

2 - Slight, slight improvement in voice quality, in the same sense that some parts of the Titanic are slightly, slightly less underwater than others ;)

3 - You still sound bad and would be better off not singing, but at least it's better than a 2 :P

4 - You can hit a few flat notes, otherwise....

5 - You can hit some notes but your voice lacks any kind of real quality to it.

6 - Now we're getting somewhere! You don't sound half bad but your voice could use some work.

7 - What I rate myself. You can sing along pretty well to the radio and to yourself but you're certainly not pro material.

8 - Now you're getting really good. You can almost sound professional if you try, just a little more work on that voice...

9 - You should be starting your own band and singing for it, because you're damn good and you know it!

10 - Professional quality voice, you can sing whatever you feel like singing and don't worry that your voice sucks, because if you're a 10, your voice most certainly does not suck!

when i was in choir, i had about an 8, but after a few years of absolutely nothing, its dropped to a 5, and i wasn't even thinking of making a band when i was in 5th grade

I'd say around 8 or 9. It's wierd, I sing all the time in school, and everyone always tells me how great a voice I have, but the truth is, I can't stand hearing myself sing. I guess it sounds so perfect in my head that when I hear it in the real, I'm dissapointed. But everyone else seems to love it, I was ranked in the top 4 Bass II's in South Jersey, so I guess there's something wrong with my ears.

It's funny how people chastise Ashlee for singing poorly, but does anyone remember the Hoobastank preformance at the 2004 MTV Music Awards? I see no one chastising them for that one.
