Agreed. And if it's not, a decent virusscanner with recently updated definition files should do the trick. You can even let MSN scan recieved files automatically, isn't that nice?

Shhh....it's because my damn sister decided to open it when she was on the account.

The filename is funny.exe, if anyone receives something like that.

Aha...my hoax alarm must be malfunctioning again. Gimme my sledgehammer...

Ahh, I don't think I'd open anything called 'funny.exe' anyways...do they think we're stupid?!

my friend got that virus months ago and boy, it nearly wiped out her desktop. i nearly got that virus as well, and only thwarted it when i closed the conversation window.

There are alot of those all named the same thing.

I recieved one and it changed my MSN name to "I've got my period." And you can't change it for about 5 minutes, plus you don't even notice it until people start laughing at you and you have no clue what is on the go.

That's what you get for not having a good antivirus/updating your antivirus. I suggest AVG free. It's good, free and uses minimal memory

Can i jus say for the record i wouldnt do a hoax. Anyways movin on i got one called hahaha, it then sent another load to my hard drive like naked drunk, lol and screensaver. Ive got good antivirus like norton, blackice and stinger but my neighbour, a wizz with computers said it attacks your antiviruses first. Anyways its sorted now, part from the fact ive gotta make a new msn account
