Please specify an MP3 player. Say whether you have it and/or it is your favorite.
I had an Apple 20 GB iPod, but I returned it due to frustration with skipping and no fading between songs. I ordered a Creative Zen Touch 20 GB Player, which should arrive by the end of the month.
I have a minidisc player. It's a piece of shit, and so is the software that comes with it.
40 gigabyte 4th generation (newest ones) iPod. I love the damn thing and wouldn't trade it for any other MP3 player out there
Like Todd, 4th Gen. IPod 20gig and I absolutely love it. Haven't had any problems with it. Not a fan of the new shuffle though, but some many find it to their liking.
PS: I don't believe IPods can crossfade.

They can't. That's one reason why i returned it. The Dell DJ Pocket can and I'm not sure if the Zen Touch can. That's a risk I'm gonna take.

i have a 30gb creative nomad jukebox zen xtra.. for the price it completely owns the ipod.. i dont mind ipods but i think they are way over priced and i dont understand why anyone would pay that much.. ok.. $250 for a 4gb ipod. thats ******** and if u own this.. u should have ur ass kicked.. i paid $250 for my 30gb mp3 player.. thats 26 more gigs for the same price.. its disgusting.. i recommend my type of mp3 player over any ipod.. ive had no issues with mine and everybody else that i know that owns the a mp3 player from the same company as me has had no problems either, where as tons of people have had issues with their ipods..

an Emerson 45 Second Anti-Skip MP3 Player. Or something.
It's worked for 2 years now, so I'm not buying anything else.
Fuck iPods.

Agreed.
I have a 5G Creative Zen. It took me a while to get used to the touch pad, but I love it. I would like more memory, but meh. Oh, and it came with a free extra battery, so I'm not complaining.

Fuck Emersons.
RioVolt Sp100 CD/MP3 player.
The laser's breaking down and it no longer gets energy from rechargable batteries for some unknown reason. And the remote no longer works either. I need to buy a new CD/MP3 player, preferably something from Sony or Rio.

4G 20GB iPod. Best investment I have ever made.
If I can ever get the chance, I'll be getting the iPod Photo, and jsut for shits and giggles, buy an iPod shuffle.

Nope, just an iPod lover is all.
I'm amazed that I haven't spray painted a stencil of one on my wall yet.

Anything but an iPod. I'm currently saving up for this one at Circuit City.

I've got the iAudio M3 for quite a long time now, and though newer models have succeeded it, it's still the best mp3 player available. It's got the best materials (brushed aluminum), best sound quality and best customization options and is the smallest! Though it's evenly priced with the iPod 40gb and the M3 only has 20gb, it's features are múch better as is it's build quality and looks. So still glad I got this one instead of that eq-less crappy iPod.. Especially since I hate iTunes (as any sane person should) :D

Well, I got a new MP3 player since a week or two. It's actually a phone, but plays MP3's too.. it's still way cool tho :D

I have an iPod mini for $250. On iTunes, I have playlists of 1,000 songs so when I want to switch, I erase the songs from my iPod and put a playlist on :D Works perfectly for me, never skips or anything.
My friend has a Creative Zen Touch 20 GB Player and I've tried it. I really enjoy it, but I like my iPod mini better.
Fits in my pocket perfectly and is great for carrying all my LP with me :)
I have a customized iSkin on it which says Linkin Park on the back and has LP all over the front.

Dell Jukebox. I love it. Easier to use than iTunes and iPod, and I can sync with WMP. Swweetness.

Whats the point of a 20GB mp3 player? Like, if you're going to listen every single song.
I have a Packard Bell blabla. 128MB, and im happy with it ^_^

Indeed. Having anything less is very annoying, since in the times I had a small (256mb and such) mp3 player, I *always* wanted to hear the songs that *weren't* on the blasted thing. Annoyed me to no end, the transferring of songs 10 times a day.

Or i could just carry my computer in my bagback (bagkbac, backbag whatever :P)
But, like if you're going to listen to every single song that is on your iPod? I only listen to 15 songs, and those are my favourites.

Other people including me like to listen to hundreds of different tracks. Even if people don't play all the songs they put on their player, it's a good thing to have all your music in case you need to play it in the future, IMO.
What would you rather carry? An MP3 player or a laptop?

On the subject of iPods, I was watching The Screen Savers last night, and apparently you can either have Linux on your iPod, or boot up Linux with your iPod. I wasn't very sure, considering it was close to midnight.
Yep.
