The other night, as I was speeding home, one of my favorite driving songs, "Machinehead" by Bush, came on the radio. Something about the song just got my adrenaline going, and I made it home on time, slicing five minutes off a normally 13-minute drive. This made me think--would I always be a speed demon if I made a compilation of some great driving songs? It would probably mean that I would never be late again. So I made one. So far, it has proved successful.

01. Rammstein - Feuer Frei!
02. Stabbing Westward - Torn Apart
03. Bush - Machinehead
04. Linkin Park - One Step Closer
05. The Offspring - (Can't Get My) Head Around You
06. Tool - Stinkfist
07. Jet - Cold Hard B****
08. AFI - Death of Seasons
09. Nickelback - Breathe
10. Static-X - The Only
11. REM - End of the World As We Know It
12. The Offspring - One Fine Day
13. Bush - Everything Zen
14. Lostprophets - Burn, Burn
15. Papa Roach - Getting Away With Murder

Feel free to post your driving music!

Not driving music, but...flying music... Yeah, I've got a radio in The Fox...it goes into the C3 channel, and cuts out when a radio transmission comes through. It's probably oh-so-not-allowed, but I've never been busted with it yet, so meh... These can be for driving too...hard driving...kinda like what I was doing last week, in a blizzard going down the highway at 100km/h... :shifty:

Anyways, here goes... I've matched each song to a certain situation that you'd expect to find yourself in (and have listened to said song during said situation...makes for some fun :D )

- Linkin Park / 'Breaking The Habit' ( when breaking through storm clouds, etc...)

- Crossfade / 'So Far Away' ( on climbout )

- Killswitch Engage / 'The End Of Heartache' ( turbulence, etc...)

- Demon Hunter / 'My Heartstrings Have Come Undone' ( landing )

- Linkin Park / 'In The End' ( anytime...it's such a great song :D )

I'll think of more later, when I finally find my damn flying CD...it's buried in my room somewhere...

I have Sirius satellite radio in my car and more often than not, I'm listening to that. Heavier music=heavier foot, not really a good thing :D but my radar detector has saved me from countless tickets when my foot got heavy

I'm not old enough to drive but if I could I'd just put Mudvayne "L.D. 50" on repeat.

This album kicks too much ass, it's a masterpiece.
