Critique Needed

I have to turn in a project in a few days and since I've been off on holiday break, I don't want my teacher to think that I waited till the last minute and only put in a few hours on the project (which I did, so there's no point in playing the blame game now :P )

Anywho, please only serious critiques, "that sucks" just doesn't help :lol:

Thats really good, i really like the colors used, and the guy on the earth is really awesome. the whole picture has a great feel to it.

There is one thing that seems a little weird though, where the bird is touching the umbrella, i think it makes it look less "real", like it makes it look as if you did just chuck in on top, not like the other birds which look more like they are flying, i dunno if you get what i mean but anyways the pic is still really awesome.

Yeah I know what you're saying, there's a slight line around the bird that diminishes the reality of it. Thanks for the comment though, I'll do my best to erase that part.

i love it! one critisism tho, the 2nd umbrella from the right hand side has the same problem as what has been said about the bird, there is a small white line around one of the edges.

on the other hand, just a random thought: maybe u ought to make sky dark purple or something..and put a moon somewhere above the globe to make it even more surreal. just my $0.02 worth. ^_^

I actually tried that, but I couldn't get it to work well with the rest of the manip. Thanks for the suggestion though. Great minds think alike ^_^
