i just thought this was kind of interesting.

Akademiks
New York officials were red-faced after discovering that clothing ads on city buses used the hip-hop slang "Get Brain" to suggest a love of books could be rewarded with oral sex.

Skechers Footwear
Skechers pulled this ad after a nurses' group complained that the racy print ads, starring Christina Aguilera as both a nurse and patient, exploited negative stereotypes of nurses. Ads in which Aguilera posed as a provocatively dressed teacher and student were not pulled.

Chevrolet Corvette
British filmmaker Guy Ritchie directed this prime-time ad, which showed an underage driver having fun breaking traffic laws in a Corvette. General Motors pulled the ad after consumer and safety groups wrote a letter to the company.

PETA
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals
CBS rejected PETA's ad, which the animal rights group wanted to run during Super Bowl XXXVIII. The ad, in which two scantily clad women try to seduce a pizza man but discover that he can't deliver "the goods," is intended to make the point that eating meat causes impotence.

Ford Sportka
The unauthorized ad shows a computer-generated cat climbing on a Ford's Sportka and poking its head into the open sunroof. The sunroof then slides closed, the cat struggles to escape, but then its headless body rolls down to the ground. Ford says it didn't authorize the ad and the agency that proposed it, Ogilvy & Mather, also denies it authorized the release of the ad, which spread rapidly over the Internet.

Viagra
The FDA asked Pfizer Inc. to pull two television advertisements for its Viagra impotence drug, saying the "wild thing" ads make unsubstantiated claims about a return of sexual desire.

Anheuser-Busch's Bud Light
Anheuser-Busch pulled its popular "Sleigh Ride" television ad after Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction." The ad showed a guy trying to impress a woman with a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride. But the carriage horse sends an inferno of flatulence into the woman's face and charcoals her hair.

United Church of Christ
The CBS and NBC networks refused to run this ad by a liberal church promoting the acceptance of people regardless of sexual orientation because the networks believe it violates their rule against advocacy advertising.

Actually, there was this one commerical... I can't remember what it was for, but it showed a guy feeding on a wolf's nipples. My dad wrote the company and complained and all this and that and we never saw the commercial again.
