I would want to know.
Just because I could do all the things I've wanted to do before I die.

Fuck no. Then I'd be all upset and trying to rush my life/their life to get the most out of it.

I wouldn't want to know how I'd die, more fun living life never knowing what's gonna happen next. And anyway, I agree that if you did know, you'd try to spend the most of it etc, and I think life is more fun living it just normally :P

if you'd know when you and how you gonna die, you'd avoid that situation like hell, at least many people would. if somebody told you you will be murdered, you wouldnt be ever to sleep at night

I wouldn't like to know. First, because I love the unknown (after all, I could die in about twenty minutes while going to school) and also because I'm not a fan of all those crying-overly-sentimental goodbyes. And if I knew, it'd become too much of an obsession.

Hell no. If i would know that I would die next week, or something like that, than everything I would do i would think. Oh well who cares, I'm gonna die anyway
My mom has a friend who can really predict when your gonna die though.
Seh did it for a couple of people and it was totally true.

Well, if you knew that "Situation X" was gonna kill you, then you could prevent your own death...sorta like Final Destination

No and yes
No because when my last day has come I would feel all weird and stuff
Yes because I'm not really afraid to die and it would be funny to know how old I will get before I die.
No I wouldn't. I wanna be surprised! :P
If I'd know it, my whole life would be just a big countdown to that day.

I'd definately like to know, cause then I could do whatever else I wanted knowing that it wouldn't be my time to die. I'd be like that kick ass dude in Big Fish. Mmmhmmmm.

I honestly don't care how I'm going to die. Point being, I figure that however I die is going to be for a reason and I know I can't tempt fate, therefore, I wouldn't want to know.

i wouldnt hesitate to know how and when i die if i had a chance.. i think itd be kinda of exciting.. but i suppose if u knew how and when you die i think you would obviously think about it and possibly attempt to change your fate.. itd be like minority report or something.. itd suck knowing if u were gonna die like in a day or something but if its longer than that id be different.. itd drive me crazy when the times counting down and almost up but the journey up til then would be the best i could make it..

If I was going to die of a very slow and painful death, I'd like to know. That way I could work on Plan B and go out with fashion.

Probably not. Like other people have said, if you knew what age/day you were going to die, then you may try to prevent it, and the entire time would just be really weird..knowing that at any time something could go wrong, and then 'Bam!' your gone. Even though the thought of dying at any time doesn't scare me, I'd rather it be somewhat of a suprise. lol.

You can't avoid it, even if you knew it. When it's your time, it's your time.

Cool topic! I would hate to know when I was going to die incase they got the dates wrong or something, you could live your whole life thinking that you knew when and how you were going to die then that date came and it just didn't happen.. how would you cope with that! Also imagine if the way you died was wrong- you could spend your whole life avoiding something because you thought you were going to die from it then you might die from something else and you would have missed experiencing something and there would be no gettign it back...ever.

that is true. that is why i dont think it would hurt to know.
@bustedsuck88: it is kinda the story of Edipus. his dad found out that he was gonna kill him and marry his mother so they sent him away(as a baby) to be killed. he was disscovered and taken care of by another family, he eventually found out his prophacy and went away from his "parents" so he wouldnt hurt them. he ended up killing the king (his dad) and marrying the queen (his mom). so no matter what you do to change it, everything will always come back to your destiny no matter how hard you try not to. (if you believe in that sort of thing)
just something to chew on :P
does everyone know that story of Edipus? (sp) (im no good w/ those greek names)

i don't wanna know how, but i would want to know when, so i know what time i am gonna die and before that time i would do everything i haven't done and take advantage of my time left.

In a way, just because I would be really curious. But, I definitely think that I would not want to know. The reason being, I already think about death enough, and if I were to know when I was gonna die, I'd probably dwell on it until I go insane and commit suicide or something...

If you knew when and how you are going to die, you prolly knew too you're going to die via suicide because of the thought of you dying on that day and that place. Right?
I sound confusing sorry, but I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.

whats the point of living if all you're gonna think of is how you are gonna die. then a murderer should give himself up because he might know he will kill you on that day cos he's gonna know he will be in electric chair for it or die in prison for doing it. it just doesnt make sense to know it. best way is to live to the max whenever the Exit door is gonna open for you.

I wouldn't want to know when or how I'd die because it'd just stress me. I'd like to live knowing that I'm gonna die one day but don't know when that will happen. It's like the quote my Cathecism teacher always says, "Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die tomorrow." I'd like to enjoy every precious moment I have, so yeah.

I would absolutely NOT like to know. How would it be like to know that you're going to die tomorrow? Or in next year?

o hell no, how could someone enjoy its life when he or she knows exactly when he or she is going to die and how. i think i would be in a depession the last 10 years. To only know everyone has to die one day is enough to know for me.
