The Pennsylvania attorney general's office filed a lawsuit against two operators of an online university after it was found that a house cat was awarded a bachelor's degree.
Two brothers who operated the Trinity Southern University in Texas as well as a cellular company were named in the lawsuit. Investigators submitted the cat's resume' which listed babysitting and retail management as his experience.
The university, which offers no classes, found the animal eligible for a master of business administration degree along with transcripts showing a 3.5 GPA. The investigators paid the university $299.00 for the phony degree.
