Here (http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_365484.html)

The skin of Tekeste Kahsay, 59, has turned white, except for a patch of skin across his face.

Mr Kahsay, originally from Eritrea but now living in Sweden, says he feels like a black man trapped in a white man's body.

Mr Kahsay was badly injured as he worked at a sawmill in Lidkoping. Blood tests revealed the first stages of liver disease which could have proved fatal.

He was prescribed a drug which saved his liver but had astonishing side effects. His skin became increasingly light until he was white except for a dark "mask" on his face and ears. He has been shunned and attacked because of his strange appearance.

He said: ''This is terrible. I disappeared. I was a black man inside and a white man outside. My self-confidence is gone."

Mr Kahsay won £15,000 from a medical tribunal, The Mirror reports.

The doctor who treated him is reported to be off work with severe psychological problems. In Mr Kahsay's homeland, he is shunned as a leper, as white pigment is considered a sign of the disease.

He added: ''I am a black man and will always be a black man but I don't know who I am. But I have learned a lot about intolerance towards people of another colour.''

That's so sad.

What in the fuck.

Michael Jackson has the real disease that does that. The name escapes me, though. (And my mother has the disease as well, so don't go giving me that bullshit that he bleached himself, because he didn't.) I don't see how a God damn liver pill is going to do that, especially leaving a patch of skin like that on his face. It doesn't seem very probable.

I just happened to think of something.

He's got a giant patch of black skin right on his face. Look under his eyes. It looks like you could just peel that right off, as if it was paint.

My mom's skin has turned from a dark-ish color to a light-ish color, but it faded. It didn't just leave patches like that.

If it really is from a liver pill, then I can see why it would just leave a giant patch. But come on, it looks like it was painted onto his face, especially since it looks like you can peel it right off. And why would the patch only be on his face? Sounds like a case of I'm-suing-my-physician-because-I-have-to-wear-a-mask-now-even-though-it-wasn't-caused-by-anything-natural,-just-a-can-of-brown-paint. LAME.

This is a ridiculous article. I'm going to end up going crazy. And flaming someone.

Shizzle, must be my computer, because when I reply, at the upper right hand corner, there's a big ass white space.

Oh well. :P

But he was originally black so he would've had to paint everything white instead...alot of effort just to sue someone. ;)

Will, are you saying this may be fake? Because I've met 3 people who look just like this guy. And yes, it was on their face, and yes it looked like a mask. Regardless, I agree, he might be faking -- you hear about it all the time -- "I'm gonna try to fuck my doctor over because I need money."

Vitilago, I think.

You're right, under his eyes it looks like the skin's peeling...

Why not just press the quote button, because your quotes get really confusing at times.

Anyways, who knows, he could be faking it, but you never know. My brother has seen some pretty bad liver spots that look almost like that.

In most cases, I find that stupidity runs stronger in the younger generation (I know for sure that I was pretty stupid five years ago), BUT it isn't always the case. I've seen some pretty smart youngin's, but they are few and far between.
