View Full Version : Super Nintendo!
Well, recently I've gotten back into the one game system I own--a Super Nintendo. It has some of the best games ever created for any system, including Super Mario RPG: The Legend of the Seven Stars, StarFox, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and of course Final Fantasy III.
However, I've come across a few unsavory games, most notably Eek! The Cat. Supposedly there's a bug in the game that makes it impossible to beat. Has anyone else here ever played it? If so, how far have you gotten?
Yeah, and open discussion of the greatness of the Super Nintendo!

As much as I love my PS2 and Xbox, NOTHING has topped my passion for my SNES. To this date I still play the games I have even though I've beaten them so many times.
For some reason, no matter how old that system gets, I'd choose Super Mario World over Halo any day... :D.
Currently, the games I play are Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario World, Super Mario Bros 1-3, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Lost In Time () and Street Fighter II.
Ah good times...
It's great to see that I am not the only one who still plays with the good ol' SNES.
Kaeton, you are my new favorite person on these boards. (Never mind who the last one was, I don't even know if I had one.)
And how could I forget to mention the great Donkey Kong Country? (Not so much the follow-up games, though...the original pwned them solid.)
Likewise Mariokart and F-Zero. Both great racing games.
Ah, the SNES. Still sitting proudly on my shelf next to my PS2, Xbox, GC, DC...etc. I love the SNES! I recommend you play Uni-Rally, Black Thorn, Fireman...argh, i could go on. Too many great games. You've already done a good job naming the Donkey Kong series etc.

That system is the reasons I can kick my friend's asses. I most notably rule in Killer Instinct,Super Street Fighter II, F-Zero, Mario Kart and Wrestlemania Arcade. That system has a lot of my favorite games on it like Super Metroid (one of the hardest games I've ever played), Super Mario RPG, Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat II, etc. Donkey Kong Country is the most beautiful game 16 bit graphics has ever pumped out. I still maintain that a cartridge is the hardest substance known to man.

Hell yea! ^_^ The SNES, probably tied with the NES, is my favorite system. Mine's still in perfect working order.
