Does anyone know how to download windows media video files when you don't have a page that you can save target as. The file is a .wmv file, and when I try to execute the path, windows media player launches. I would like to download this file ASAP. Please help. :chemist:

i think there's a prog called "ASF Recorder" that records windows media files off the net, wmv and asf, i think.

Hmm...get the URL of it, then make your own html page on your comp and put the <a href=http://url.com/url.wmv>video</a> and then right click, save target as.

I think that would work. :unsure:

Ok, thanks for your help. The ASF Recorder is awesome and I downloaded the file. By the way, the file was LPTV EP 3.
