A Couple of my Poems

[Rachel]

dance balance cry die

(dancing on a ledge)
teeter. ready to jump.
wait. why am i here?
sirens. they want me down.
STOP! YOU CAN'T STOP ME!

(balancing on chance)
totter. i could just fall.
but...then it wouldn't have the same effect.
hmmm. such hard decisions.
NO! DON'T MAKE ME JUMP!

(crying makes it rain)
rocking. i might just slip.
take a look around, there's nothing to lose.
except maybe him. and her. and them.
NO! NO! I'M FALLING!

i can't die.
they won't let me.

cut through the dark cynicism
bleed away the putrid mediocrity
watch the blood abate onto your lips
amazing how love turns into animosity

do you enjoy it precious?
swallow the blood that stains your face
swallow the lies that caused this
isn't it ironic, you're choking on your words

heal the wounds of all this anguish
slowly slits will turn to regret
but scars will always exist
i won't forgive i won't forget

mutilation of the heart
(you caused mine)

Everything I write has something to do with an occurance in my life. Like, if I actually dated my poems, y'all might actually know what has happened to me in the past year.

But yeah, some things are exaggerated for a mature extent (like, I do a couple of poems that revolve around sexuality, and I'm still a virgin so, it won't be true. But it'll be how I feel in my heart, and how I'd display that physically).

And I really appreciate that you two like my poems. ^_^
