.: LPA graphics debate :.

This is a new idea that I feel like putting up here. It's only a test, so I'm not sure if this'll sink or swim.

Basically, the idea is that some of the graphicy people debate upon graphicy things. Post your ideas for graphic-related topics and if I feel there is enough attention, we'll run it by and see how it goes

dude that's what we have in rate the stuff - it's just that a few select people can't be arsed writing a full critique about it despite me telling them to at least 5 times.

if you mean just a random image and not a sig - then yeah we can have that, since that's really the point of this place anyway

Yeah ^_^ Like.. uh.. normal stuff :P Wallpapers, animated stuff or normal pics that are too big for sigs.

I still think that 'Rate The Stuff' is lame :P Only one person can judge on a signature and you dont get to hear what others think of your sig :(

How about a thread that has one person start out with a graphic and then the next person who post will have to add more to that graphic and so on and so on.

Or you could have tennis matches.

What those are is a one on one (or more... B) ) type of thing where one person starts off with an image they photoshopped (or whatever they use) , and the other person has to use that image to make a new image. Then it goes to the first guy and repeats.

And you keep on going until someone gives up or something.

I've found these really help you be creative when it comes to creating graphics. And you can learn something during a match too.

No. What LJ suggested was not a one on one deal, just one person posts, another person edits, another person after that. Like a 'three word story' type of deal. Graphic Battles/Tennis Matches are more of a face-off kinda deal.

That's a great idea ^_^ - however having just two people allowed in that thread isn't very fair. I'd make it so everyone is allowed to shop thing object the way they want to

What I want from the "Person 2 Person", is to see what will become of the image at the end of photoshoping it. It could go on for like a month or so. The person who photoshops the image first should be allowed to choose who can photoshop it next, just to keep the confusion down, like people asking at the same time.
