How long is Ambient?

How long is ambient and is it a separate track or is it part of Part of Me?

It's the hidden track. It's about three and a half minutes long, if I remember right.

And it doesn't have it's own track number. It just starts playing after some beeping at the end of 'Part Of Me'.

I cut off Ambient from Part of me and made it a separate mp3, its 2:40.

The Part Of Me I have is 7:22. It is just like the original, the difference is that mine has only less than a minute of beeping, and that I got it labeled as Part Of Me VAL Edit. I had downloaded the original Part Of Me (12:44), and I ended up ditching it because it's way too long.

and how does the track start? I just want to make sure that my version is right. Mine starts with a very soft drum beat with a melody that sort of sounds like an old video game system. Is this right?

I remember I had a long Part Of me track once, but I never actually though of listening to the whole thing... well at least I have Ambient now (well called Secret but its still the same thing :P)

On the edited verison I have it&#39;s about 2-3 minutes, but I think on the unedited verison it&#39;s like 11 minutes

The unedited version is just &#39;Part of me&#39; with a big long silence after it.
But the actual song &#39;Ambient&#39; is 2:40

Not really. It&#39;s just filler between the song and the bonus track. I find it pointless. Maybe one minute of beeping, but not six.

Well this will probably be closed, but anyway, the version on the EP is 12:43. I do have the 7:22 one as well though, and they&#39;re the same. Someone just cut out most of the beeping between the 2, and only left about 45 seconds of it in between.

I think it was named by LP&#39;s fans and not by LP themselves

Supposedly mike said that was it&#39;s name, but no real documentation of him saying it ever showed up, it&#39;s just one of those things where for lack of a better name, Ambient sounds cool and just sticks.
