Ambient?! Yes, thatīs what I read some time ago...
But, couldnīt it be that this song is "Technique long"??? Or is it somewhere official written down that this song is called "Ambient"?

Yes, and Pushmeaway.com doesnt have everything. Ambient is the hidden track at the end of Part of Me on the HTEP.

Is the instrumental on the same track as Part Of Me, or is it Track 7?
It's a hidden track at the end of "Part Of Me", which is 16 minutes long. 3 minutes of "Part Of Me", 11 minutes of beeps, 2 minutes of "Ambient".

Ambient is a cool track it reminds me of session for some reason
I downloaded 'Ambient' but the file was named 'secret' so I thought I found a super rare instrumental, but I played it to my mate and he told me it was just 'Ambient'

Does it contain organs, no turntables, and sounds like something outta final fantasy 7?
cos that's the instrumental i got it was labelled "secret" too.

i call it Hybrid Session. Im pretty sure its a demo of session. It has the same drum pattern, and it is slighly shorter. its my favorite inst. song outta anyone of them.

Does anybody know where we found out Ambient was the name? I'm pretty sure it was in an interview with mike somewhere, but I really don't remember.
And a lot of people have said they thing it's a Session demo, let me clear this up: Demos for songs are really only recorded when they're writing the album the song is gonna be on. If this was a Session demo, the earliest we would have heard it is after Hybrid Theory came out. Ambient may sound a lot like Session, but LP didn't have Session in mind when they wrote it. Actually, Session, Ambient, Cure for the Itch, and a lot of interludes/Intros/Outros that Joe has done live have similar patterns, maybe it's just a certain pattern he likes with his beats. :)

Mike created "Session" and the hidden track off of the EP (I refuse to call it "Ambient" until someone proves to me that "Ambient" is the name), not Joe.
