Carousel

I've noticed that this song condradicts many other LP songs. It's partly about someone who will accept another person and show them the way...i think...while other songs try to lead that person away: ie. Don't Stay and most of Meteora.
I like this song and the demo even better. What are your opinions of this song and/or the demo.

Meteora lyrics are either very diverse and deep, or generic and repetitive. It depends on how you look at them.

Anyway, I think Carousel has great sampling. The demo is my favourite LP/HT/Xero track.

Hmm...I never thought it could be about drugs. I guess it is a very general song that can be about a range of topics. That&#39;s one of the reasons why it is a good song...because anyone can take it from their own perspective.

The only song on Meteora that doesn&#39;t have a straight-forward meaning would be Breaking the Habit. Other than that one song, Meteora&#39;s lyrics are not diverse, nor deep, at all.

It is one of the best songs that LP have made in many ways.

Yeah drugs sounds like a good explanation...i used to think it was a song talking about satan and how he makes people&#39;s lives a living hell like GETTING people to do drugs and crap like that and then wondering why they run away from him after realization or something but it was dumb. Drugs is an easier concept to understand.
