meh... i liked the last one the most because harry finally felt anger and jelosity and normal feeling like that and stopped being so perfect.

I like the 5th one because it's gripping and interesting.

Oh, and I KNOW there are gonna be people asking this, "Philosopher's Stone" is "Sorcerer's Stone" in England. Er, well, the other way around, since England came first. But you know what I mean.

I like the last one best because it is the most intense and you find out so many things that you hadn't known before. I think they keep getting better as the books go on, so the latest one will probably always be my favorite ^_^

Where's the "I've never read one" option?

How the hell does Philospher mean nearly the same thing as Sorcerer? They're like complete opposites.

Anyways, the first one will always be my favorite, closely followed by the fourth one. I was a little dissapointed by the fifth one. Anyone know when the next one's coming out?

EDIT: Nevermind, just saw the other topic. :)

*points up* Hey, I resent that. ;) Anyways, I liked both the 3rd and 4th book. They both had a lot of action and I just really like the storylines of these two than the others. Also, I figured I liked them the best because I read those two the fastest. ^_^

The books OWN the movies, you have to check it out even if it's the only reading that you decide to do during life.

Gotta agree that movie number three got PWNED by book number three. No questions about it. And the third book is my favorite, mostly because it seemed to move faster than the others. And there's none of this Hermione-and-Ron crap.

i'd say that the third and/or fourth are my faves. the fifth one i found didn't live up to what it was expected to be. i understand the whole idea of Harry being fifteen and all...but that's just too many extream emotional changes for me. parts of it i thought were very well done and there were some that i thought that just wouldn't end. so all in all, i hope that the sixth one can pick up the slack from the fifth novel.

The books are good. But the movies are crap; they just don't live up to the standard of the books.

Since the films put me off reading or seeing harry potter ever again i never read the 5th book.

So I'll say the 2nd book is my fave

My favourite was The Goblet of Fire. There were parts of The Order of the Phoenix that I really loved, but there were also parts that I didn't like at all. How much I like the fifth book depends on my mood really. The second and third were both really great as well. I'm not so crazy about the first book looking back because the other books are so much better. Plus, I think the first movie ruined it. The second movie was better but still kind of crappy, but I really enjoyed the third movie.

The third one... I liked how there was a bit more mystery to it. Also, that's when Sirius was introduced :D The fifth book made me cry.

I know, Sirius is such an awesome character!
I cried for a certain part of the fifth book too...I won't say what it was because it will ruin it for those who haven't read it. :(

I'm surprised at how many people liked the fifth book. It stressed Harry's emotions way too much. I know he's supposed to be all adolescent and stuff, but enough is enough. It lacked action all the way up until the final few chapters. But I guess some people always enjoy the recent one the most.

To be honest i like all the books, and movies, well, so far :shifty:

The third is definitely my favorite. I think that's when the series really started to get interesting, what with the introduction of Sirius and all. But I liked the fifth one as well, maybe because I waited so long for a new book. But I'm waiting anxiously for the sixth, but when it's all over, I suppose I'll be rather sad.

It's a tie between POA and GOF for me...

I loved Prisoner of Azkaban because a lot of great characters like Lupin were introduced, and I loved Order of the Phoenix because J.K. actually managed to get me pissed at someone who's not even real (Umbridge), but I gotta go with Goblet of Fire. Quidditch World Cup, the Dark Mark, the Triwizard Tournament, the Yule Ball... just too much goodness to say it's not my favorite. So, GOF gets my vote. ^_^

Can't wait for the fourth movie by the way.

The fourth book! I just love the whole story ...

I would've said the fifth, but it's just so boooooring and Harry's mad at everything, and Sirius falls into some veil thing and disappears and ... bleh.
