Have You Ever?

I've never written a proper poem before, if you can call this proper, so here it goes:

Have you ever?

Have you ever felt so enclosed
And forced to do what is 'preposed'
Bashed about
Messed around
The painful memories
To which you're bound
Have you ever had your soul deranged
Your actions, mind and heart encaged
Your feelings, worthless
Just thrown about
You shall never be left alone.
Have you ever felt your sanity derailed
Your life strung out, your circle impailed
Sentiment exposed
No past erased
You wait to die
The future is mazed
Far past the extent of all reasoning
Have you ever given up with trying
Emotionally, physically and mentally dying
Slashed
Gashed
Torn apart
You can't go on
Let life depart
Mind, body and soul awaiting
The peace that was never known
