Hey, I've been recently thinking of joining the LPU, but I'm not sure if it's worth it. Some of you LPU Members, could you possibly give me the pros and cons of the LPU? I can't even view linkinpark.com besides the splash page :angry: darn computer...

No, there's more good stuff!! CD good. Stuff that comes with package (including email, pin, post card, pic, tee shirt, stickers and other pictures) That all rocks. The only thing that isn't worth it is the message boards. They're extremely lame. Blah.

I seriously think they should do the packages and stuff Warner, because from what I hear they take a long time to get sent. A looooong time. I'd rather wait and buy the CDs from eBay.

who the hell wants a photograph of Linkin Park thats photo-copied autographed by them?

Or stickers for that matter.

Pros:
The Shirt and CD

Cons:
The Price, The Message Board, The "exclusives", The pre-sales dont always go that well such as i got worse seats in a pre-sale than my friend did in the public sales.

Its not worth it at all. Just go on Ebay and buy the CD

Well at least you get the presales on concerts. The meet and greets are a pain in the A** to sign up for.

The LPU message boards are turning into the LP message boards. Every day more people with names like "I<3 ChazYcHaZ352" and "ShinOdAChicK2535" are joining.

It's terrible.

Also, the LPU has hardly any exclusive audio, and like no exclusive video. Fansites have more. The LPU has gone right downhill.

i can´t even sign up for the m&g of project revolution tour coz i live in germany and there only come up the shows in europe

I actually like the LPU. Meet and Greet signups, presales on tickets as long as TicketMaster doesn't screw it up, cool shirts, CDs, stickers, postcards, a pin, guitar pic, @linkinpark.com email address, and then also you have the satisfaction of saying your part of the Linkin Park Underground. All those things make it very worth it to me. :)

That gets annoying... And the memebers have frickin personal conversations in their posts, their signatures the forums so much that you when you close the window, your eyes have strechmarks... But there are some benifits.

I think it's worth it. The pre-sales, the CD and shirt (along with other stuff) that you get, and the bonuses you get... I mean, they sent out FREE Reanimation DVD's (the DVD-A version) and the free LP Underground tour were great.

exactly...I didn't understand half of the stuff u said with the "liek dis" stuff. I got LPUnderground last year and the only thing that was worth it was the CD and the Presales. I didn't sign up for LPU3.0 because I just ripped the audio off the DVD and already had the stickers and stuff from 2.0.

The Reanimation DVDs and Hybrid Theory EPs aren't being issued out anymore in the LPU!!
