They remaining band members were going to keep going with the band name "New Beginnings" or something last I heard... apparently this is more recent:

Whew-who! Party at my house! :D

EDIT: Nope, I was right -- they just changed the name. http://www.alterbridge.com/ <-- New site from Mark and the others. Mark's an awesome guitarist, good luck to him!

I think most people agree with you :) That's why I'm actually looking forward to Alter Bridge's album.

I don't really care if the rest of Creed is still making music. The one guitar/bass player they kicked out was hella good.

But if Scott Stapp continues to make music, I will be forced to go on a killing spree. The man has an ego the size of Texas. And I think he's the anti-christ. He needs to just retire and stay at home and lavish in that Creed money.

Hmm.. what happend that they all broke up anyway? I never liked Creed, so I don't give a crap if they did break up. But I know something happend on stage or something, I just don't remember. Can anyone inform me?

Scott Stapp and his drunkeness on stage? Maybe it was how he kicked out that one dude because he didn't believe in God or whatever.

Yeah.

Plus they were then sued by a bunch of fans who went to the concert and asked for their money back.

That's funny. I remember hearing that. So much crap about loving god and being so religious and they go and get drunk on stage. heheh :D

Looking forward to this. Tremonti is a good guitarist. But I liked Creed's bassist...and I don't think he's in Alter Bridge, but nevertheless I will buy it. Hopefully it's hard and not a christian band.

it was on Stapp who was drunk on stage. So much that he couldn't remember the song or lyrics.

I'd expect something like that from like, Axl Rose, but a Christian like Stapp? :wth:

It was Scott's alcohol problems. A few months ago their site went down and was replaced with a "New Beginnings" site (what Alter Bridge was first called), when they kicked Scott out. I don't really believe MTV's article about them "trying to work it out" or anything, to be honest. I think they kicked him out a few months ago like their site said.

Of what I've heard Alter Bridge seems like a new and improved Creed. It is Creed with their old bassist and a new singer. I think I'll like Alter Bridge because Creed was okay, but the Pearl Jam vocals were getting annoying

I liked Creed, they had some really good songs. I don't know why everyone hates them, but it sucks that they broke up. :(

I guess I should buy Alter Bridge's album when it comes out.

Didn't he also try to cover that up at first and say that he was having a religious experience or something?

I admit I liked some of Creed's songs..but only the stuff from the first album before they got really big. Their best song was still "My Own Prison"

I liked "Torn" off My Own Prison. All went downhill from there though.

Creed have had really good songs.

My favourites:

With Arms Wide Open
My Sacrifice
One Last Breath (My favourite)
Don't Stop Dancing

I haven't really heard any of their old stuff

I heard that, too, from Blabbermouth... Tommy Lee was letting Nick Carter use some of his beats or something for it.

Thank god. I've never liked them, I have to admit their music was pretty okay. I liked Ode alot very very good song. But the lead sing just irritates me, like in that one video he kept spreading his arms out like he thought he was Jesus or something.

It made me want to laugh.

Why do you all say "thank god they broke up." There are actually some people who like them (like me) and unless you have a specific reason to hate them, you all shouldn't say that. There is something called actually not listening to any of their music if you don't like them.

Scott Stapp was a hypocritcal illegitimate offspring of unmarried parents who likes to talk about how he believes in God and all that bullshit, but deep down inside only writes lyrics like that for the profit.

We all have our reasons to hate Creed. Sorry if they don't type it out for you, Mr. Glenn

Well actually I'm fascinated, why do you people hate them?
