Maybe it's just me, but it seems like KoRn wants and is trying to be an indie band, as it is. I mean, they're not going all out on their videos at all and they just seem to be glad with what they achieved but want to go back to the underground.

Seems like a good idea, i mean bands never do that anymore(if they ever did) but honestly, going back underground might restore their fan base. They dont need so many teenies going "LYKE OMFGz I LOVE U!11!!"

I agree. Their latest video is lackluster. And I hope the song with 'Lil Jon' is not some cookie cutter "YEAH, WHAT, OKAY!" song... I'm sick of that.

I just realized how hilarious that song will be.

I hope Dave Chappelle makes fun of it on his show.

Actually, it seems more bands are doing that now more than ever. Adema, Powerman 5000, KoRn, Apex Theory, SR-71, etc.

I think it would be great if Korn went independent. They already have enough money and a huge fan base... they won't have to worry about sales of their albums too much.

What's it matter if they're indie or not? You do realize that "indie" only means "independent", correct? The sound should still be the same, which is the main thing that matters. They'll have more creativity independently, too.

If KoRn becomes an Indie Band Britney Spears wil be the 7th member of Linkin Park. And Jessica Simpson wil be smarter than Einsiten. Come on people you belive MTV for news. There is only rap or crap on MTV.

In actual fact, MTV is one of the most credible sources for news on the internet, no matter what thye play on tv.

And you would say this because...?

What would surprise you about KoRn becoming independent? Lots of bands do that. Lil' Jon is actually an independent artist. An artist having their own label and releasing it on that label (like what Orgy did with "Punk Statik Paranoia") is independent.

Please, explain to me how this is hard to believe. KoRn only has one CD left on their contract, and that's going to be used up with a "Greatest Hits" style CD.

So KoRn -- being the band that doesn't like their record label at all -- is going to stick with them, even though they don't agree with it?

Please explain your logic. :wth:

Korn should go Indie becaue I am tired of them. I wish Linkin Park would hang with cooler bands than Korn, not to offend any Korn fans here

Um. Punk Statik Paranoia came out on Orgy's own label with NO major label support. That's as indepedent as you can get.

I don't see how going underground would help them. I mean, the masses already know their music, and thier lyrics and music is very accessible, appealing to many young high school kids and such

RATM wasn't independent. Perhaps they were on an imprint, but they were not independent.
