Are there any bands that you liked at the beginning but than started to suck? Also list the album that made you change your mind about them.
Metallica - St Anger (I only liked Unnamed Feeling)
Kid Rock - Self Titled (I only Liked Cold And Empty)
Staind - 14 Shades Of Grey (Only Liked So Far Away and Zoe Jane)
Thats all I can think of as of right now. I'll add to my list after I get some sleep.

limpbizkit - Results May Vary (not that bad, but i only like the heavy songs)
Staind - 14 shades of grey (terrible, i only liked Price to play, Fray and Intro)
Shade

Finger Eleven - Self Titled (Old CDs much better)
Incubus (Can't stand anything past Make Yourself)

Especially 'The Greyest of Blue Skies'. But that album is pretty much flawless in my opinion so I don't see how they can beat that. Although they do have the talent. I liked the self-titled, though.
Adema: 'Unstable' < 'Adema'.
Blindside: 'About A Burning Fire' < 'Silence'
Disturbed: 'Believe' < 'The Sickness'
Staind: '14 Shades of Grey' < 'Dysfunction'/'Break The Cycle'
Sum 41 - Does this look infected?
That cd's songs were all the same. Like every song they yell "so!" and go into a riff. Kind of how like Avril goes "ay ai ay ai ay" in every song.
MetallicA
Limp Bizkit
do like both bands new stuff but older stuff is much better
Limp Bizkit (RMV is nothing compared to 3 Dollar Bill)
Blink 182 (Take off your pants and jacket is their bad attempt at being comedians, not musicians)
Incubus (Dont really like the new one)
System of a Down (Steal this Album kinda sucks, Toxicity was great)

I don't really like Incubus' new CD. Even though I've never bought the album, I don't like the singles they've released so far.

Metallica, for the most part.
And I think the old Staind is better than the new, but the new isn't that bad.
And Linkin Park, for that matter.
I like the old Puddle of Mudd better too.
And of course, a bunch of old 60's-70's bands still around that suck now. I think it was the drugs. Those people need a freeride to take drugs so they can make better music. Just kidding, but it's an idea.
The offspring - "Hit that" makes me wanna rip off my ears. "Cant get my head around you" is pretty cool. My mate played me their new album and I wasnt that impressed. Its probably because all their albums sound almost alike to each other and it gets boring and al the same.
I like their old stuff though.

The Default album your thinking of is called Elocation and i totally agree with you.
Other ones would be:
Adema- everything before unstable
Outkast- Everything before i heard the Love Below portion of the album
Finger Eleven- I mean the new album was onr of the better ones that came out last year but for Finger 11 it was one of their weakest one, but like Mark said Greyest of Blue Skies was pretty flawless as well as Tip in my opinion too, so it's hard to beat it anyhow.
This is all i can think of for now.

Agreed, GoBS definately is amazing. I've introduced so many people to Finger Eleven through that CD, and every one of them love it.

Nothing will ever surpass F11's Greyest of Blue Skies. But their self-titled isn't that bad.
And IMO, Limp Bizkit was never that good to begin with, but I wanted to shoot myself when they covered Behind Blue Eyes. *gags*
