Episode was indeed amazing but I am having a bit of trouble reconciling Cerci becoming an evil tactical military genius at a blinding speed, after she spent so long just being evil, and a dummy.
Watched it early.... omg.. what an episode.... arya.. your sister isn't the weak naive girl you remember .. she's hardened A LOT.. be careful little warrior..
The plot armor last ep was just ridiculous, it was tense though. The pacing this season has just been so hectic that a lot of events are kind of glossed over, whereas in past seasons things could drag on at points. I'm enjoying it despite the flaws though. It's going to be interesting to see how they wrap everything up in just a 6 episode final season. Maybe there'll be longer eps, at least this season finale is 80 minutes.
What i loved about the EP was the dialoug between Tormund and the hound and talking about the hound: CLEGANEBOWL INCOMING! WHAT HYPE IS MAY NEVER DIE!
So there were a lot of dumb parts of the episode. Like there was a point where thousands of wights sunk under the broken ice, and the magnificent seven were just stranded there for approx four days, and not a single wight tried to come up from under the water to break the ice they were standing on?. The wights are zombies, they dead. They won't drown. And don't tell me that they can't swim because there's a scene near the end of the episode where a small group of wights do exactly what I just said they could do.
You know, it's really strange. This season has been absolutely fantastic, the 6th episode aside. It was only in that episode where you could feel them rushing to make the story fit within 7 episodes rather than 10. It would have been great If they would have done the standard 10 so that particular episode wasn't so poorly written. But man, WHAT a finale! One of the most gratifying parts was Sansa turning on Littlefinger. I was thinking that Sansa and Arya's plotline from the 6th episode and the finale were so bad when taken at face value, so it was AMAZING to see them actually out Littlefinger Littlefinger. I had the idea that it may be the case, but they didn't give any evidence to point in that direction. That final scene was incredible. It's sometimes hard to believe that this is a fucking TV show. The budget and scope of the show is INSANE. It happened YASSSSSSSSSSS.
Man, the Winterfell szene has to be one of my favorite szenes of the entire show i think. That made me "OMG, SHE DONT SAID IT, RIGHT? OMG". So great. Aiden Gillen did a perfect Littlefinger, so fantastic in the entire show. Another great part, the redemption of Theon. I hope he finally pushed Reek aside to get his sister back. AND finally Jamie leaves Cersei, it is fucking time. Hope she fucked up now. CLEGANEBOW FUCKING CONFIRMED The szene with Brienne and the hound was pretty sweet too Hope Tormund survived this shit
