http://www.spikedhumor.com/articles/69814/MS_Paint_God.html The person who did this is incredible. I've done a great deal of work with MS Paint before, and I have to say I truly can appreciate this fine piece of work. Also may I ask the fellow music enthusiasts here on the LPA what this song is?
nine inch nails - right where it belongs damn i forgot about that song. i really liked that album but i rarely listened to the mp3s. i should buy it.
I've been contemplating this for a few days. Although it is impressive, it looks like they used a pallet. It's also likely it's a tracing. I'm not trying to sound rude, but the chances any one can free hand almost perfect proportions with paint either has absolutely no life whatsoever or traced... It's great work, being that I used to practice this type of stuff with MS paint myself I can appreciate this very much, but it just feels "iffy" if you know what I mean.
He used a PC graphics tablet. With the limited mobility of a PC mouse, drawing that freely is damn near impossible.
And a heck of a good tablet because my very basic Wacom sucks. But, with that in mind, it's still frickin awesome.
You can actually do some very good, realistic artwork in Paint if you have TONS of time on your hands. You have to be patient enough to keep zooming in and out and analyzing every little pixel though. And obviously it's not gonna look THAT good without some kind of template or whatever. But I have seen some people do some pretty awesome stuff in regular Paint without any extra help. The thing that makes it cool is that you can see how they kept messing up and having to fix things to get the paint can to fill in the colors right, etc., so it comes off as being honest.
