This thread is about NoBraiN's experience. Please stay on topic at least out of respect to the guy for taking the time to answer our questions. For you, the LP community.

    Thanks.

    Damn, people gettin' owned!

Anyway, great interview! It really gives me that feeling as if it were me that had won the contest. What's surprising is he's not that much of a fan of the band.

His taste in music gets my respect. He seems like a pretty chill guy from what I've read, and congrats to him for winning!

Great interview, really enjoyed putting this together and hearing from NoBraiN. It was awesome to hear which tracks they had him working on for the album. Pretty cool guy too.

Pretty impressed with his taste in music. Explains the influence in his remix. I love it!

The dude got to submit his ideas for two tracks, and they were included. That is amazing! Classy move by Linkin Park, and a great remix by NoBrain. He must be really damn talented to get the band to use his work.

NoBrain's remix wasn't one of my personal favorites (I think barely anyone heard it before he won) but I like his mix nonetheless. I also like this guy's well rounded musical interests

I'm surprised he even knew it was Mike Shinoda when he saw him haha.

He sounds like a really cool guy. Congrats to him!

That was great read. Even though his remix wasn't my favorite, I'm still happy for the guy. Hopefully this'll help kick-start his big time career!

In my opinion I think that they chose the perfect person, his track is exactly the sort of thing that Linkin Park is after; substantial, timeless sound.

Plus the fact he loves Aphex Twin just makes it even sweeter.

I love his honesty about not being a Linkin Park fan. Most people would have jumped on the wagon after winning just to keep people from bitching, so kudos to you NoBraiN! I for one didn't like the remix, at first. However, after listening to the band's version of The Catalyst and really getting a feel for what Mike meant about it seeming like NoBraiN almost knew what they were doing with the album, now I do. Killer track dude. Respect to you.

NoBraiN read back the article and wanted to elaborate on some of his responses, I've included the edits in the main interview but check them out below if you've already read it.

    - More information on his tshirt design:

*When I talked with Mike over Skype he noticed a fan on my wall. You might even say that he liked it, so 3 days before the meeting in Berlin I decided to make an image of that fan, so me and my friend Horiso created a logo and then printed it on 7 black t-shirts – 6 for the band one for me.

    - More information on the ATS tracks he worked on.

*When I was working on When They Come For Me & Jornada Del Muerto Mike told me that ONE of my ideas will be included. And in the end it was When They Come For Me.

So in addition to Spanish screaming, there's Polish screaming. :awesome:

I jest, but that track is looking to be very damn interesting what with what we've heard already along with his collaboration.
