Fuck yeah Australia. Certified Gold already. Just to you know, LIVING THINGS peaked at #1 on iTunes here in Australia.
strange, i thought that it was 2th in Italy EDIT: http://www.apple.com/euro/itunes/charts/top10albums.html
Just like ATS, Living Things enters the charts at #4 in Flanders (Belgium). ATS did better in its second week reaching #2 so there's still a chance that Living Things will reach #1 in Belgium, fingers crossed! @Derek The Infamous or @Mark: Your list about Belgium is not complete. You actually should divide Belgium into two parts. Other language = other charts... - Flanders (dutch speaking): LT at #4, source: http://www.ultratop.be/nl/weekchart.asp?cat=a - Wallonia (french speaking): LT at #3, source: http://www.ultratop.be/fr/weekchart.asp?cat=a
Doesn't this mean that the final first week sales of LIVING THINGS would have to include the above value for physical sales plus whatever the digital sales were? And wouldn't that mean that LT outsold ATS (cause im assuming there were more than 6000 digital sales). ...or am I missing something?
Congrats to the band!! I don't know but I think the apple link is a little bit off. It doesn't even show Overexposed by M5. This one is more accurate to me: http://kworb.net/aww/ And we still are #1 in iTunes worldwide sales LT reach #2 in iTunes Brazil Edit: Today's list http://kworb.net/itunes/linkinpark.html
Yep, that 235k quantity is US only. The fact that it sold that many years after A Thousand Suns should mean that it outperformed it IMO. As the years progress, fewer and fewer people pay for music so it's pretty astonishing that they debuted with that big a number in the US. Does anyone remember if A Thousand Suns went gold in its first week in Australia?
