to show to a friend who had NEVER heard Linkin Park before, what songs would you choose? One song from each of the 5 albums? I would probably pick: 1. In the End 2. Faint 3. What I've Done 4. Lost in the Echo 5. Powerless
I would think this would be better off in the Linkin Park Chat section, not Living Things. But, I would choose: 1) In The End 2) Figure .09 3) Breaking The Habit 4) Lost In the Echo 5) Roads Untraveled (just so there's a ballad-type song and the listener gets a feel for all of Linkin Park and not just the rap/rock)
1. The Catalyst 2. Waiting For The End 3. Castle Of Glass 4. Roads Untraveled 5. Breaking The Habit In The End would be the last song in the world I would show them ahahha
I would start old, than newer stuff... 1. In The End 2. Breaking The Habit 3. What I've Done 4. The Catayst 5. Lost In The Echo (These aren't all my favorite tracks, I just think that the show LP's growth between albums best)
Wow, I didnt even see this, when posting mine. I was also debating on LITE or COG. Great minds think alike.
01. UNTIL IT BREAKS 02. LOST IN THE ECHO 03. The Catalyst 04. CASTLE OF GLASS 05. I'LL BE GONE Jornada del Muerto and TINFOIL would've been there, but I needed to get the most out of it.
1. Tinfoil/Powerless. This song is pure beauty. 2. Waiting For The End. perfect combination of Rock, rap and electronic. 3. With You. It's energetic, heavy, and uplifting. 4. Little things give you away. Again, similar to Powerless, it is really beautiful. 5. Breaking the habit. it got me through the worst of my life.
1. A Place for My Head ( screamer/rapping) 2. Breaking the Habit ( experimental LP) 3. Numb ( big chorus) 4. The Catalyst (experimental, electro LP) 5. Castle of Glass (experimental/mike lead vocals)
If I picked one track from each album... 1. Crawling 2. Faint 3. What I've Done 4. Wretches And Kings 5. I'LL BE GONE
Yeah. I choose Castle Of Glass because it is my favorite track on Living Things. The same can be said for the other Linkin Park songs I posted.
1. Crawling 2. Breaking the Habit 3. What I've Done 4. Waiting for the End 5. Burn It Down (for starters)
My friends are for the most part metal or rock fans. I would probably show them the heavy stuff, to proove LP can make good rocking tracks.
