This is my first time trying dubstep..and since it's LP, I wanted to share it with you guys! Edit: Mixing seems to need work...hmmm http://soundcloud.com/rocky-palos/bitsdubstep
I cheated. I stole this http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=51254 I forgot how to make your bass wobble, and I'm hella lazy
Haha. It's not stealing when it's free. I use the plugin Massive from Native Instruments. It takes quite some effort though to make a breakdown with say, 5 different wobble rates. Then you'll most likely want other sounding basses in there as well, which takes even longer. I've been using wobbles here and there for layering effects, but making a breakdown is just too draining for me lol. Edit: and that site you posted is sick for getting samples. I downloaded maybe 500 percussion samples from there a couple months ago.
I remember being a beginner and just loved experimenting with breakdowns and all. I swear I have to convince myself to not be lazy...so it took a few days to make this track lol
Liked the idea of it in general, definitely needs better mixing though. Oh and, get rid of the reversed vocals haha.
I actually love the ending. Keep the reversed part. Jordan is right, though. It does need better mixing.
