I'm not familiar with the original version of this song, and, sometimes, remixes are best appreciated without that context. I like this, mostly, though I think that it could've used a bit more dynamic variety and some stronger-sounding drums that aren't so low in the mix. In the description, you mention a "weird time signature" so you must've fitted it over your own 4/4 rhythm, right?
