I can see why they've made the change they did to make it more of a "movie song", but I definatley prefer the album version. I think the slightly slower build up and less complex sounds at the start suit it better. I hope the album version is used for the single.

took me a second to figure this was actually a new news post...

And guys, as long as it fits the movie, what's wrong with being 'only a little reworked'?

If it's meant to fit in a movie I don't think it's fair to judge the track based solely on its audio, just saying.
The word 'Remix' is just misleading there.

I like the original way more, but whatevs to each his own.

I was hoping they would do the piano version Mike teased in Meeting of a Thousand Suns

i thought they put more strings on the song..... like suppose to be a score arrangement.. but i like the idea making it upbeat to fit in the movies scenario... :)

Don't hate it, but I definitely prefer the original over this.

I'm definitely shocked by this. Was not expecting this...but then again, Hahn did say a remix....just of Lil' Wayne. I feel like the intro is just a bit too dancy for me and the reworked parts aren't bad at all but just a bit dissatisfying that they cut parts off that I feel were a major part of the song. But like some have said, I did like the build up much better in the original. But I also do understand that this must be a movie single. I just hope the music video utilizes the original song even if the actual single is this...which is a remix? (man does that sound weird)

I actually dig this version a LOT despite my undying love for the original version of "Iridescent". Being a Transformers fan myself, I do feel like this remix is a more credible end credits/theme song for the movie, and as always it's still that same song that I have grown to love under all of those new additions. :]

I like the first 15 seconds but that's it. I hate how everything shortened at the end and the beat that starts immediately when Mike sings. It just doesn't fit right with the song.

Didn't like it. Brad's guitar part doesn't fit on the chorus.

And they butchered the climax, which is the best part of the original.

It sounds like a bad fan remix.

would have preferred a darker version, though this one sounds more action-like and thus may be more fitting to the film.

It sounds a bit risky, shifting around a song can kill it's effect, let's just see how it's used in the movie... Plus this will definitely be the radio version, edited down to an acceptable length and made so it doesn't bore non-fans

I enjoyed the edit, but it seems to take away from the original track. Plus the vocals seem to be a tad choppy with the editing towards the end. Just my opinion though.

Did they cut some part in the "gang vocal"??

    ...Uptempo + Some cut....ow well......
