They couldn’t find a better shot to use of the band (namely Chester) for the front cover? And what’s with the security guy’s face? In fact, Mike’s eyes look odd if you zoom in too. Just find it to be a very awkward photo. Disappointed there’s no visual accompaniment to this, but grateful that we are getting anything at all. The Crawling track sounds ace.
I'm on board with this. I really enjoyed how Crawling was being performed during the last tour cycle.
Yet again, another fitting tribute for Chester - a real reminder of the person and talent he was. I love the version of "Crawling" that comes with this.
I absolutely admire how the band has handled this tragedy the last four months. Everything from their letters, to the concert, to this album has just been handled with absolute class. These guys are remarkable.
It’ll be hard to watch it since I was at one of the concerts but it’s also a great way to pay respect to an amazing singer and a man Chester was.
Instant buy, such a pleasant surprise, love the Crawling piano version. I'm so glad we got Leave Out All The Rest on this love the 2017 intro with Mike singing, would have been perfection if Waiting For The End was included too.
Excited for a nicely mixed recording of Sharp Edges and LOATR. And crawling of course is awesome. It would have been really great to include past "special" concert renditions though, like the ballad medley, QWERTY/Victimized, the catalyst refrain intro to GATS, 2012 APFMH, etc. So much stuff that has yet to be given an official release.
Yeah, it's a shame that Crawling and LOATR are the only songs that'll vary from their studio versions, in particular I would've loved to hear an official mix/release of WFTE with the Apaches intro and wall of sound outro. Ah well, it's not fair to complain.
