Yep, agreed! She's pretty good! I absolutely love 'You+Me' It's a folk/acoustic project of Dalles Green (City and Colour, Alexisonfire) and Pink. I know some AOF and C&C fans hated the album because of Pink. But imo both voices compliment each other so well. I'd love them to do another album together. Her solo stuff is quite enjoyable, too.
Yesssssssss!!!!!!!!! YES YES YES Love this project. I'm a big City and Colour fan and a huge P!nk fan so this combination was perfect to me. I do agree that their voices cmpliment each other very well. A cobination I would have never thought of but I'm glad they did
I disagree. I haven't enjoyed a single Radiohead song since Creep and I've heard a decent chunk of their music.
Three Days Grace without Adam is also good. Saw them twice since 2015 and they were both great concerts. I also like Human as an album.
Pretty much the only same music we listen to is Porcupine Tree/Steven Wilson and Linkin Park. Out of all bands Porcupine Tree is the one we have in common No one in my real life knows who they are
Totally agree, even though I didn't like Creep at first, Karma Police is also good, but Radiohead would be much better if I could understand the lyrics and if lyrics were a bit easier so that I could understand them. In terms of instruments it's not the best band either, but the instruments are the part they are really good at. Maybe more listens to OK Computer, AMSP and Kid A could help change my mind a bit, but I will never like Radiohead the same way I like some other artists and most importantly will never get the idea of them being one of the most critically acclaimed bands. Difficult lyrics would not be a problem if they really excelled on the way they sound, which is what I think happens with Nightwish because they have a level of epicness in their music no band will ever match.
Haha I got never get into his voice, I think that's why I dislike their songs. I noticed a trend today actually 4 bands who I'm not the biggest fan of, 3 of them have something in common- vocal style. The Radiohead/Arcade Fire/Nine Inch Nails type of singing is just not for me. However, I do like some NIN songs unlike Arcade Fire and Radiohead.
Not that they sound a like, I'm not talking about the sound of their voice. It's more about the way they sing then how they sound Maybe I'm crazy
